Our son has been studying violin with Mr. Fan for ten years, since he was six years' old. Under Mr. Fan's tutelage and guidance, we have been extremely happy with our son's development and maturation as a young musician. Mr. Fan is both a demanding and patient teacher, representing an excellent fit for our son, who has benefitted from a teacher who can be both. We have observed that Mr. Fan has been able to relate very well to our son, equally well when he was a young child of six, and now, as a teenager. Mr. Fan demonstrates enormous respect for his students, which, in turn, motivates them to work harder for him and for themselves. His ability to teach the technique of violin is unsurpassed; his ability to also teach the artistry of the violin is equally impressive and deserves special praise. It has been nine years since my daughter joined Miss Jenny and Mr. Fan for violin lessons. Miss Jenny and Mr. Fan are extremely experienced and talented in teaching young children. They are very patient, and are excellent in motivating their students to play their best with confidence. Good quality music is highly stressed in each lesson. Under the guidance of these two awesome teachers, our daughter successfully completed her RCM exams, and is now working towards her grade 10 RCM exam. Miss Jenny and Mr. Fan are well known by the Unionville High School (UHS) music teachers for their high quality of teaching. Many of their students are accepted into UHS music program, including my daughter.
